Drought
At the beginning of June 2023, polish Institute of Meteorology and Water Management, gradually announced the state of hydrological drought in almost half of the territory of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodship. The high temperature and lack of precipitation contributed to the disastrous condition of crops – the condition of cereals or losses in vegetable cultivation will probably have a huge impact on the situation on the food market in the near future. Growing vegetables in the backyard garden has become quite breakneck, requiring daily watering of the usually moisture-holding soil.
